Hello! My name is Solami Bassaw and I am a virtual tutor. I hold an Honours degree in Chemistry from Rhodes University. I have been tutoring students for about 2 years on and off. I am passionate about teaching and I love nothing more than helping students develop their skills and achieve their academic goals.

As a virtual tutor, I use technology to identify your child’s learning needs and develop a learning journey that addresses their specific gaps. I deliver feedback and reinforce the fundamentals, just like it is done in an in-person setting.

-My honours research is published in a renowned journal, with me as a co-author.
-My honours project won, 2nd place in poster presentations at the DST-NRF workshop in my honours year

My previous tutoring experience is private tutoring. I virtually tutored primary school students from 2021-2022. I also did homework and project assistance as well as examination preparations with them.
