Hi I am Lameez a qualified Foundation Phase Educator with 9 years of teaching experience. I hold a Bachelors degree in Education and specialize in teaching learners from Grade R to Grade 3 across all subjects, including English, Afrikaans, Mathematics and Life Skills. I am passionate about supporting struggling learners and helping them build confidence and understanding. I see myself as a patient, energetic and effective problem solver who enjoys making learning meaningful and accessible for every child.

I have successfully completed the Jolly Phonics program which has strengthened my ability to teach early reading, phonics and spelling skills in a structured manner. I have also completed a qualified assessment course which has equipped me with skills to accurately evaluate learner progress.

I have gained valuable tutoring experience working with learners from both Foundation Phase as well as Intermediate Phase. I have supported Grade R to Grade 3 learners across all subjects focusing on strengthening their foundational skills, improving reading fluency, numeracy and overall classroom experience.
In addition I also have experience tutoring Grade 5 learners where I assisted with consolidating core concepts, homework support, exam preparation and targeted intervention for struggling areas in Mathematics and Languages. My approach is patient, structured and learner centered, ensuring that each learner receives support tailored to their individual needs and learning pace.
